The Motorbike
We were looking for a motorbike again after we found a Chinese guesthouse. we found it à bit fast in a Chinese motorbike shop.
We liked the people, they are nice and friendly and Lilia had good conversations with them in Chinese. We had to pay RM1780 which is around AUD600 not to bad. We have to wait a few days to put it on our names but no problems. I was surprised its that easy we only need passport and driving license then we got a bike!!

Butterfly Garden

As proud owners of our motorbike we went with the bike to the butterfly garden. This way of traveling is so much better no more bus!! total freedom. The butterfly garden was amazing beautiful butterflies everywhere. They sit down on me and Lilia. Beautiful flowers , big fishes, snakes, lizards, insect, and scorpion. Good experience!

Floating mosque

We were curious about the floating mosque so we had a look. They were doing the speeches on the speakers with the Arabic music. We had a closer look and I asked if we could go inside. the first guy said no. Then somebody came to us and said its no problem ,we just had to put on some different cloth to cover our top and legs , I had to put on a long robe and Lilia has to wear a black dress and a headscarf.This was a very different experience to us.

Penang National Park

The national park is mostly free.
If you wanna go over a canopy bridge you have to pay RM5. It’s a tropical forest there are 2 walking tracks one to monkey beach and the other is going to the turtle beach. The track was nice and easy we walked to the turtle beach which is about 2-3km and it took 2hours. When we arrived we are quit disappointed because its so dirty and dead fish everywhere, and it didn’t have any wild turtle here just a turtle sanctuary and a couple of baby turtles.

Penang to us was a big city it has so many buildings it doesn’t feel like a island but people are different bit nicer and friendlier then KL . We like this city island.
