From Singapore to Malaysia by train ,we were sleeping on the bed was awesome Arrived in Kuala Lumpur found a guesthouse which was pretty good and cheap. Kuala Lumpur is another big city lots of people everywhere. It’s a mixed country lots of Muslims, Hindu and Chinese.
The first day we went to the Kuala Lumpur city centre to see the twin tower this building is impressive. 2 big towers with a bridge in the middle. You probably know it from the movie Entrapment with Catherine Zeta-Jones where she steals the diamonds in a cat suit. After that we were looking for a motorcycle after asking and lots of walking we couldn’t find any bike shop around city center. So we went back to hostel .Next day we had better luck there. For around 700 AUS dollar we could buy one. The only thing holding us back was that it took 3 days to register. We didn’t want to stay 3more days in a city so we said no. After We had some lunch and a guy there told us there is a cave near by. We thought we can check it out.
When we arrived there we were impressed . there has a 60m high Hindu statue. And stairs that went up for at least a 100 meters. We went in started to climb the stairs. At the stairs were lots of monkeys, sometimes quit aggressive. They steal food and even drinking bottles. Half way there is a cave we went to have a look. We saw you could enter with a tour so we did. Lilia was a bit nervous going in because it was so dark and it smells a lot. But she really enjoyed it. They showed us around did a lot of explaining and told us there are some special animals. The guide showed us a worm if you cut this worm In to peaces it would still life and the body will growing back into 2 difference life. Another animal looked just like our spinal. Quit interesting. The cave is a old limestone cave and it was so dark in there if you turn the light off you wouldn’t even see your fingers. That was a good adventure.
After that we had dinner on the street it calls ” BBQ lok lok ” .that food was simple just put anything on the stick and cook it in boiling water then dip sauce, funny is the store is on the table and you have to cook it by yourself ! Was yummy .We went back to the hostel and had some beers on the rooftop. Good view and relax !feel enough of city!!Kuala Lumpur to us just busy and dirty we both need to get away from city. Next we are going to Pangkor island good luck to us!!
