Time goes so fast, it has been 4 .5 months…. What did we do in Scenic Rim?
Just working? of course NO—–, We explored this area very hard!! We pretty much went out every weekend, hiking, motorbike riding, 4WD driving, scenic drive, visiting coffees and restaurants ….. We had been everywhere in Scenic Rim.

Yes, We work hard and play hard. Actually we just enjoying our life more and forgot to update our Website sorry…
1st weekend, of course we couldn’t wait to bring our motorbike out!

We went on back road to Maroon Dam toward white swamp Rd. then via The Fall Drive to Queens Mary falls. The road was very easy to ride on, we thought it was very hard but it was very easy. The road condition almost better than main road. Super flat but the sign said “4WD only” !!? On the way to Queens Mary Falls the view was just amazing, hills, peaks and mountains. The landscape just so beautiful, no wonder there`s so many motorbikes in Scenic Rim .

We visited Queens Mary falls 2 years ago and drove Spring Creek road to Carr`s lookout. At the time we said to each other that one day we gonna ride our bike up to this range. Here we are, we made it.

Hiking — Mt. Barney National Park
Yellow Pinch Lookout Track. At the lookout you got the best view of Mt. Barney.

Lower Portals Track. The track itself was not too bad, at the end we went for swim at Mount Barney creek was so nice and refreshing.

4WD- The Lost world
There`s place called “the Lost world “, how can we miss it .
So we went and we really got lost…….
We just don’t know where we are and where we are getting to? The road toward to The Lost World just getting so mystery , no sign and no one but cows, hills ,creeks, mounts and peaks. The journey to The Lost World just like you are entering to Jurassic World.

Scenic Drive-The Lion`s road
Built as a Lions Club project to allow travelers through the forests to New South Wales. At the border, they have a donation box to raising money for the local to fix this road , it was very interesting. Road was amazing, after met highway we follow the sunmerland way toward Mt. Lindesay highway . On Mt. Lindesay highway, the view with Mt. Lindsey at the background was so beautiful.

Took a Sunday off, we checked out one of must visit in Scenic Rim- Lavender Farm.
This farm had the best location in Scenic Rim. When you walked through restaurant into back yard than you see the views of the Scenic Rim mountains. No wonder here is No1. wedding destination in this region.

On the bike to Byron Bay, about 400+km return
We want to checked out where`s the place Thor-Chris Hemsworth lives. This time we went on the bike. On the way down to coast ,we checked out Nimbin, known the world over as Australia’s most famous hippie destination and alternative lifestyle capital. Yes, rainbow everywhere!!

Arrived at Byron Bay, we found a lodge room in reflections caravan park just right in the town centre. Super convenient don`t need to ride but walking through the town center. How good is it.

On the way back , we checked out –Natural Bridge, Springbrook National Park
Put down the helmets and went for a walk. The walk was very easy we went down into a cave there was a beautiful waterfall, the waterfall came down through a hole into the cave quite amazing.

Boonah-Flavours Cafe
Of course , we had our favorite cafe shop , they have amazing pie with mash potato and peas also fish+sweet potato chips.

4WD- Condamine River 14 crossing
One of the Adventure bike destination and must do in Scenic Rim. Of course we did it on the bike, but on 3 crossing we had issued. Our bike just didn`t want to start, shit……….we were in middel of no where. We had the tools and battery charger, but nothing happened. we used Garmin-inreach to contact Toni (our back up) if she can reach RACQ, but they don`t do river crossing rescue. So we just have to walk around to ask locals for help. We walked for a couple of kilometers there was a farm, so we went there but no one home. Walked down back to our bike just had to wait for other people passing through. About an hour late, we heard a sound of car, Lilia ran to him asking for help, lucky he had jumper cables …woo hoo…thanks to God we made home safe.

Too bad, we did`t finished it on the bike, but weeks later we got on car drove through the 14 crossings…..it was easier then we thought. Ruben was very disappointing, it was still a beautiful place though. ( Please check out videos on home page)
Bike Riding-Mt. Barney view road to Woodendong, about 100km return
Followed upper logan road via barney view road than met Mt. Lindesay highway toward to Woodenbong. Beautiful ride and scenery view just amazing, especially with Mt. Lindesay at the background.

Dirt Bike riding-Mount maroon and Cannon Creek road
Here has so many tracks around , Ruben met a bike man Jeremy who traveled on the bike from NSW back to Brisbane. He was camping here for a couple of night , and Ruben made good friend with him, they went for a ride together and had a great fun.

Hikking- Main Range National Park and Lamington National park
