Early start in the morning it was cold had extra jacket on and i was off to Herbeton. From there we start riding. Most people bring there bikes on trailer but i rode my bike from Tolga so not to far about 50km. We had about 16 riders. It was going to be a great day beautiful weather not to hot. There were a few new people one was on a big Bmw gs one of the earlier models before 2000. I wasn’t sure how that would go with this ride. When we started the ride we took of on the road and not long from there we went off road. There was a steep hill with sand and loose rocks i thought this is going to be hard on that big bmw. And i was right she wasn’t able to join this ride to hard. There was another lady she was Japanese she just started riding and had a little Yamaha. She surprised everyone and did very well.
This ride had the perfect balance between technical riding and nice flowing gravel tracks and some single track. We also had a few creek crossings.
Half way we arrived in Irvinbank where the fire station had cooked us hamburgers with some cold drinks.
