Beautiful day out hiking. Walked through a local four wheel drive park. Then we followed a railway to the first lookout with beautiful waterfall the Carrington falls. from there we followed the waterfall climbing up to the top which was very steep . when we reached up, there was a swimming hole. They made of a dam with a rock wall. We crossed the creek and followed the track along. The next bit was very steep and rocky track with over grown grass . When we arrived at the Wharttons lookout, we saw a stairs on the rock (someone must be forgot take with them ). climbed up there than you will see Great views. After that we went to Lake Tinaroo for picknic and went to to Lake Barrine Tea house for a coffee and sweet. Lake Barrine is a crater lake with a tea house right on the edge of the water. Stunning setting we go here quit often. On the way back we went to a sun flower field. A new tourist attraction in Atherton, seasonal only but its getting really popular.

Tolga Sunflower Farm : Dawson Rd, Atherton QLD 4883
What an excellent travel diary you have made. It looks like a wonderful place to visit. We hope to get there one day.
Saw the sunflower farm on Gardening Australia and thought it a beautiful place to see. Keep it up Lilia & Ruben.
Looks great those sunflowers. The view of the first pictures are nice as well. This part is not really a jungle like the previous locations we have visited together.
